Trumpet Vine with Bumblebee

by Stephanie Suesan Smith, Ph.D. on August 22, 2010

This is a trumpet vine (Campsis radicans).  These are hardy vines that are invasive and will spread all over your property if not planted in a controlled setting.  This one is hosting a bumblebee at the moment.  Trumpet vines are attractive to bees and hummingbirds.  The flowers range from red to gold.
