Spinning Wheel

by Stephanie Suesan Smith, Ph.D. on July 7, 2010

This was taken at a textile factory in La Paz, Baja California, Mexico.  The factory was a stop on a tour of Baja California, so photographs were permitted.  This factory had two industrial looms.  One made things out of wool thread the family purchased.  The other made things out of cotton thread the family spun from cotton they grew and/or purchased.  The products were well made and not expensive.   It was a nice factory.
