Snowy Cedar

by Stephanie Suesan Smith, Ph.D. on January 21, 2011

We don’t get snow very often in my area of Texas.  Sunday a week ago, though, it snowed about 8 inches and stayed cold enough that the snow didn’t melt until the following Saturday.  Northerners may scoff, but we do not get that kind of weather here.  No snow plows, no de-icing equipment, just cold and snow.  I braved it to take some pictures for my Mom, who likes to put snow scenes in her novels.  Here is one of them.
