Migrating Monarch

by Stephanie Suesan Smith, Ph.D. on November 10, 2010

It was very windy when this was taken and I was very lucky to catch this Monarch butterfly on the ground.Β  The poor butterfly was trying to make it to Mexico for the winter.

What an amazing photo Stephanie. We have Monach butterflies here. They would be happy in our warm weather too. I love your changing graphics in your header (or whatever the techies call it) where your logo is. One talented gal that’s for sure πŸ™‚
