Lamb’s Ear Plant

by Stephanie Suesan Smith, Ph.D. on October 10, 2010

Lamb’s ear is considered an herb and is grown in the herb bed at the Heritage Garden of Hunt County.  I have photographed the soft leaves as well as the spiky flower stalk.  The flower stalk has a sulphur butterfly on it as an added bonus.

I find it cool that some people eat these plants, because they aren’t exactly known for it.
